Our Story

Thinking Loft is the baby of two mothers.  As mothers, we naturally want to provide our children with the best environment so that they can be nurtured and developed into smart, confident adults who are not afraid to express their unique selves to the world.  The next natural step is for us to want to share our personal experiences with other parents and let more children enjoy the same joy of learning.

That, led to the birth of Thinking Loft.

Thinking Loft Founders

Cheah Sin Wei

Sin Wei graduated with a MEd (specialisation in Early Childhood Education) from Monash University.  She is also a Cambridge certified teacher in Speech & Drama. 

Sin Wei has a strong opinion on the role of teachers in the growth and development of children. She has not only taught extensively young children age from 2 - 6 years old but has also been engaged by preschools to help train their teachers.

Yong Hwee Yee

Hwee Yee attained her post-graduate diploma in Education from Harvard University while she was doing her MBA in Harvard.  Subsequently, she spent time teaching in US. Armed with the passion and enthusiasm to share what she has experienced in US, she returned to Singapore and ultimately got together with Sin Wei, her long time friend and started Thinking Loft.
